Byens Hus Roskilde

I worked for Byens hus as a communications and social media manager for 3 years from 2018 to 2021. I handled content creation, promoting events and general communication work but also did interior design, graphics and events!

SOCIAL MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY

As the Social Media Manager, I handled Instagram and Facebook and planned and created content for both platforms.
I also took a big part in developing a brand new communications strategy for Byens hus, focusing on developing a visual identity and how to create relevant and quality content. I was also the in-house photographer.

STUEN

During my time in Byens hus I worked on transforming the ground floor from old tourist information to an interactive, creative and welcoming public space for creative events and every day life to emerge and take form.
I was in charge of design, aesthetics and worked on colours, concept and the design process as well as layout and ‘zoning’ of the space.

GRAPHIC FACILITATION

During meetings I would do graphic facilitation, mindmapping and brainstorming to capture everything in an intuitive and visual way, which was a valuable tool to keep track of everything and to jot down and catch up on important decisions along the way in a house that’s lively and where things move fast.

GRAPHICS

I created graphics and visual material for events that we hosted, particularly for social media but also printed materials like flyers and posters as well on occasion.
